Private. Files never leave your device.

Open a different file?

This closes the current PDF. It stays in your recent files with everything you've done, so you can come back to it from the home page.

Clear all files?

This empties the list and the order you put it in. Nothing is removed from your device.

Turn on airplane mode and give it a try. It still works.

How to remove pages from a PDF online for free

Delete one page, a handful, or most of a document, right in your browser. You see every page as a thumbnail before you decide, and the file never leaves your device.

  1. 1Open your PDF. Click Choose file or drag and drop a PDF into the tool. Every page appears as a thumbnail, so you can spot the ones to remove by eye.
  2. 2Skip the pages you want removed. Click a page and press its eye button, or select it and press Delete. A skipped page stays in place, dimmed and marked "Skipped", and is left out of the download. The heading keeps count, for example "3 pages skipped". Changed your mind? Press the eye again, or use Undo.
  3. 3Download what is left. Tap Download edited PDF. The new file keeps every page you did not skip, in their original order, and is built on your device while you work, so it is ready when you are.

Free for everyone

Remove pages from as many PDFs as you like, with no watermark or daily cap. Because it all happens on your device, there's nothing to upload and no usage to ration. This is the same page tool as Organize PDF, which also reorders, rotates and numbers pages. Want the opposite, pulling the pages you want into a new file? Use Extract PDF pages: extract takes the pages you pick into a new file, while remove drops the ones you don't and keeps the rest.

It's open source under the MIT license, so anyone can read the code, fork it on GitHub, or share it. Simple PDF tools should be free for everyone.

Got questions?

Frequently asked questions

Are my PDF files uploaded to a server?

No. Nothing is uploaded. The tool runs on your device, in your browser, and your file never leaves it. There is no processing server. For offline use, install PDkef and let its required assets load while connected.

How do I remove a single page from a PDF?

Open the PDF, click the page and press its eye button (or select it and press Delete). The page is dimmed and marked "Skipped", and the heading says "1 page skipped". Download edited PDF gives you a copy without it.

How do I delete several pages at once?

Skip them one after another with the eye button or the Delete key. For a long run, Skip all puts every page out of the file, and you then press the eye on the few you want to keep. Invert swaps what is kept and what is skipped, and Include all brings everything back.

Can I find and remove blank pages?

Yes, by eye. Every page is shown as a thumbnail, so a blank page is easy to spot. Click it and skip it. Open shows any page larger if you want a closer look before deciding. The tool doesn't detect blank pages on its own.

I skipped the wrong page. Can I undo it?

Yes. Press the eye on that page again to include it, or use Undo to step back through your changes, and Redo to step forward. Nothing is removed until you download, so you can change your mind as often as you like.

Does it change my original PDF?

No. The tool builds a new file from the pages you kept and offers it as a download, named with "_modified" after your original file name, which you can rename before downloading. The PDF you opened is left exactly as it was.

Can I remove every page?

No. A PDF needs at least one page. If every page is skipped, the download shows "Every page is skipped" and stays unavailable until you include a page again.

What is the difference between removing pages and extracting them?

They are two sides of the same job. Removing drops the pages you do not want and keeps the rest of the document. Extracting pulls the pages you do want into a new file. Use Extract PDF pages for that; this page is for taking pages out.
